Ancient Roman Saturnalia Festival

Educators in VR Holiday Storytelling

Join the world-builder, Lida, as she shares the history and traditions of the Saturnalia Festival to celebrate the god Saturn with public banquets, gift-giving, and a carnival party with gambling and merrymaking. Celebrated for hundreds of years, the modern version continues during the Christmas season.

Celebrate the History and Traditions of the Ancient Roman Saturnalia Festival, exploring the mythology, traditions, and customs in a 1:1 scale reproduction of the Athens Agora Marketplace at night.
