Cyberbullying: Event Hosts and Moderation

Educators in VR

PAST EVENT

Bullying happens in VR events as they are often targets for bad actors intent on disrupting an event with many people, not just attacking individuals. Experienced VR event hosts gather for the 4th Annual Cyberbullying Event Hosts Speak Out Panel to discuss their experiences and share their tips and techniques for handling event disruptions and moderation.

The Educators in VR Metaverse Ethics Team, formerly the Cyberbullying Team, meets regularly to explore the legal, ethical, and social challenges of the metaverse, and encourage standards and practices that keep virtual communities open, thriving, and healthy while encouraging safety and security for all.

October is International Bullying and Cyberbullying Month. Educators in VR hosts a month-long series of special events on the subject. If this is a passionate issue for you, please join our team.

Expect these sessions to touch upon sensitive areas. Please remember, these are NOT therapy sessions.

Educators in VR is dedicated to integrating VR, AR, and XR into education and business. Since 2018, we host over 800 VR free and paid events, classes, workshops, and conferences annually covering all aspects of immersive education.
